เนื่องด้วยทาง Mx5my ที่มาเลย์เซียได้เชิญสมาชิก Miata-Thai ให้เข้าร่วมงาน SIC (Sepang International Circuit) Mazda Mega Gathering โดยทางตัวแทนขายของมาสด้าประเทศมาเลย์เซียเป็นเจ้าภาพเชิญคลับในประเทศ โดยมี Rx7,Rx8,MPS,Mx5 และได้เชิญ Miata-Thai และ MiataSg ของสิงคโปร์เข้าร่วมงานTrack Day ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 27 ตุลาคม 2556 นี้
ทาง Mx5My ซึ่งทางเราได้เคยเชิญเค้ามางาน Bonanza Meeting เมื่อปลายปีที่แล้ว ได้แจ้งขอเชิญสมาชิกเราที่สนใจจะเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ผ่านผมที่รับอาสาเป็นผู้ประสานงานให้ โดยเบื้องต้น ผมได้แจ้งกำหนดการเดินตั้งแต่วันที่ 25-29/10/2556 รวม 5วัน การเดินทางครั้งนี้นอกจากจะได้มีโอกาสขับรถในสนาม Sepang ซึ่งเป็นสนามแข่งรถ Formula 1 แล้ว พวกเราจะได้ท่องเที่ยวที่ปีนัง กัวลาลัมเปอร์ Fraser Hill หรือ Cameron Highland ด้วย
เราจะนำรถของเราขึ้นรถเทรเลอร์ล่วงหน้าไปยังหาดใหญ่ก่อน 1วัน โดยเราจะบินตามไปรับรถเช้าวันที่ 25 เพื่อขับรถผ่านชายแดนมุ่งหน้าไปเกาะปีนัง ซึ่งที่นั่นกลุ่มเพื่อนMx5 ที่ปีนังจะมาต้อนรับพวกเราและพาพวกเราไปขับรถเที่ยวพร้อมรับประทานอาหารของทางเกาะปีนังซึ่งขึ้นชื่อว่ามีอาหารอร่อยที่สุดในประเทศมาเลย์เซีย
วันที่ 26 เราจะเดินทางสู่KL แวะท่องเที่ยวระหว่างทาง นำทางโดยเพื่อน Mx5 ชาวปีนังที่จะเดินทางร่วมกับพวกเรา พักค้างคืนที่โรงแรมในKL
วันที่ 27 เดินทางเข้าร่วมงาน SIC Mazda Mega Gathering พบกับฝูง Mazda หลากหลายสายพันธุ์ตั้งแต่ Rx7, Rx8, MPSและ ฝูง Mx5 จากเจ้าบ้าน พร้อมกับ Miata-Thai และ MiataSg (สิงคโปร์) ร่วมกันขับรถในสนามสูตรหนึ่งที่เลื่องชื่อ ขับรถในแนวยิมคาน่า เดินชมฝูงรถMazda สปอร์ตหลายรุ่นที่จอดเรียงรายเต็มไปหมดและเพลิดเพลินในการพบปะเพื่อนชาวต่างชาติ ชมการแต่งรถหลายๆรุ่น เดินชมและถ่ายรูปรถสวยๆในลานจอดรถที่ทางเจ้าภาพจัดไว้ ค้างคืนที่KL
วันที่ 28 แวะเที่ยวตึกแฝดและช็อปปิ้งในตึกปิโตรนัส จากนั้นเดินทางสู่ Fraser Hill หรือ Cameron Highland สัมผัสอากาศเย็นตลอดปีพร้อมกับขับรถเปิดประทุนไต่ระดับขุนเขา ผ่านเมฆหมอก พร้อมชมวิวทิวทัศน์ที่สวยงาม พักที่โรงแรมก่อสร้างในแบบประเทศฝรั่งเศส
วันที่ 29 มุ่งหน้ากลับหาดใหญ่โดยไม่ลืมที่จะเปิดหมวกกินลมชมวิว แวะซื้อทางฝากระหว่างทาง กลับถึงหาดใหญ่ นำส่งรถขึ้นรถเทรเลอร์ ขึ้นเครื่องกลับกทม.ในไฟลท์สุดท้าย

สุดยอดเลย ทริปนี้เป็น international ครั้งหนึ่งในชีวิตสักครั้งที่จะได้ขับรถไปมาเลเซีย ครั้งหนึ่งที่จะได้ขับลงสนาม SEPANG
สุดยอดครับ ขอขอบคุณพี่จุ๊บและทีมงานและเพื่อนๆทั้งชาวไทยและต่างประเทศที่ทำให้เกิดทริปนี้ขึ้นมาครับ

ค่าใช้จ่ายยังสรุปไม่ได้ครับ กำลังจะเช็คกันอยู่ แต่คาดว่าน่าจะมี 35,000 +/- ครับ รวมค่ารถเทรเลอร์ไปกลับกรุงเทพ-หาดใหญ่ ค่าตั๋วเครื่องบินกรุงเทพ-หาดใหญ่ ค่าโรงแรม 4คืน ค่าลงสนามเซปังและค่าน้ำมันตลอดทริป ถ้าสนใจลงชื่อไว้ก่อนไปเลยครับ :car:

Our Mazda Mega Gathering Track Day 2013 will be held on 27 OCT 2013 (Sunday). We have planned a fun filled day for us all. I'am sure for those who joined us in back 2011 & 2012, we would still be able to remember that we achieved the largest (for it's time) a 88 Rotary Mega Gathering photo-shoot and convoy.
For 2013, we want to make it even bigger. We said we be ambitious, and that's what we're out to achieve together with TEAM MPS & MX-5. Let's make Mazda Mega Gathering Track Day 2013 the largest ever and we aim to achieve 100 car on Sepang International Circuit.

Confirmed Itinerary for the Mazda Mega Gathering Track Day 2013 . Please ensure everyone's on time to gather at the meet point because there will be Drivers and Event Briefing prior to the largest Performance Mazda convoy on the face of this earth!!!
9 00am - Mega Convoy
10 30am - Car formation and group photography session.
11 30am - Registration.
12 00am - Lunch Buffet.
1 00pm - Safety Briefing.
2 00pm - Beginner Section.
2 45pm - Pit in Beginner section.
3 00pm - Advance Section
3 45pm - Pit in Advance Section.
4 00pm - Open Section
6 00pm - Pit In Open Section.
6 30pm - Lucky Draw & final event group photo.
Mega Convoy - 9.00 am
The meet point will at Sepang Tol GPS location 2.83231,101.660975 (park at road side after the tol) at 8.30am. The more punctual participants are, the earlier we can set off and have more time for the photoshoot
The convoy to Sepang International circuit will be via Klia Extension Hwy. There should be police escorts for this and the committee will be the appointed Marshall's equipped with Walkies Talkies to assist. Their role is similar to the police escorts, which is to ensure an orderly & safe convoy to our photo-shoot location. We will be leaving sharp at 9 30am
if you miss the convoy please head straight for the Pad dock area.

Car formation and group photography session - 10.30am
The shoot will at SIC pad dock car park & take at least 1 hour. With 150 cars, we hope to be able to position all cars in 30 mins with remaining time for individual and group shots with the cars. Models and Photographers will be paired and will cover the cars.
Registration - 11.30am
Right after the shoot, it will be Registration booth at Media Center Sepang International Circuit to confirm car entering Sepang International Circuit Track & goodies bag
Buffet Lunch - 12.00pm
Right after the registration, It's a Buffet Lunch so bon appetite and eat your heart out!
Safety briefing - 1 00 pm
Safety briefing will be held on 1 of the Media Center room.
Beginner Section - 2 00 pm
First half hour will be the orientation drive for first timer in SIC track, we encourage you guys to take part on this.
Clear Beginner Section - 2 45 pm
Clear the track and prepare for Advance Section driver
Advance section - 3 00pm
This will be full 45min hot-lap for advance driver to test out limit of car.
Pit in Advance Section - 3 45pm
Clear the track and prepare for Open Section driver
Open Section - 4 00pm
This will be full 120 min open for all beginner Section & advance section driver.
Pit In Open Section - 6 00 pm.
Park your car at pad dock parking head & return transponder at Media center
Lucky Draw & final event group photo - 6 30pm.

All Costs for the day should be financed up-front by each member of a sum RM 300 Track participation fees and will include goodies bags, Lunch. Additional Non Track participation / additional pax for RM 100.

ถ้าอยากขับรถในสนามด้วย หลังไมค์มาถีงผมได้ครับ
ขอบอกว่าเป็นมหกรรมที่ยิ่งใหญ่ ที่รวมรถมาสด้า RX7 RX8 MPS และ MX-5 ของ AEC ชึ่งจะได้จารึกลงในประวัติศาสตร์
เราจะได้มีโอกาส ขับรถ MX-5 ในสนามที่เหล่า F1 ใช้วิ่งจริงๆ ชึ่งยังไม่รู้อีกกี่ปีที่เราจะมีสนามแบบนี้ในบ้านเรา ด้วยค่าใช้จ่ายที่เหลือเชื่อเพียง 3000 บาท
ท่านสามารถที่จะลงขับในซ่วงของ นักแข่งมือใหม่ หรือ มือโปร ได้ตามความถนัด

- สมทบกับกลุ่มสุราษฏ์ ช่วงบ่ายแก่ เช็คอินและพักในสุราษฏ์
24/10 - เดินทางผ่านแดน Mx5 ชาวปีนังมาให้การต้อนรับที่ชายแดน
- เพื่อนชาวปีนังขับรถนำข้ามทะเลไปยังเกาะปีนัง รับประทานอาหารท้องถิ่น
- บ่าย ขับรถเที่ยวเกาะปีนัง, George Town , Party ต้อนรับมื้อค่ำอาหารซีฟู้ดที่ 69 Mansion
25/10 - หลังอาหารเช้า check out ขับรถท่องเที่ยว มุ่งหน้าสู่ Cameron Highland
- สัมผัสอากาศเย็นบนเทือกเขา ชมไร่ชา พักรีสอร์ทสไตล์ฝรั่งเศส
26/10 - ท่องเที่ยวชมวิว เก็บภาพประทับใจช่วงเช้า
- บ่ายมุ่งหน้าสู่ KL เช็คอิน ขับรถเล่นในเมือง อาหาร ช็อปปิ้ง (สมทบกับกลุ่ม Miata-Thai ที่บินตามมา)
- BBQ ดินเนอร์โดยเจ้าภาพ
27/10 - หลังอาหารเช้า มุ่งหน้าทำกิจกรรมที่ SIC อยู่ในสนามทั้งวัน พักค้างคืน KL
28/10 - ขับรถมุ่งหน้าขึ้น Genting Highland ท่องเที่ยว สัมผัสอากาศเย็นตลอกทั้งปีบนแหล่ง Casino
- เที่ยววัดจีน สวนสนุก ช๊อปปิ้ง และพักบน Genting Highland

We would like you guys to brief your member on driver and vehicle requirement
Note for Driver entering Track Requirement
- For Driving Experience, driver must hold a valid Drivers License.
- Original drivers license must be provided.
- You will need to register and fill up an indemnity form before commencing with the activity. You will not be allowed to start until you have done so.
- All drivers are required to wear proper auto/motor Helmets. (Recommended FIA or Snell Approved 2000 or newer)
- All drivers must be in proper attire minimum acceptable: T-shirt, Jeans and Shoes (no slippers allowed) however it is recommended for full racing attire.
- (Recommended) Drivers shall wear gloves made from fire resistant material or leather that fully cover the hands and leave no exposed skin when worn with the driving suit
- (Recommended) Shoes made of fire resistant material or common cowhide leather are required. Shoes must cover the entire foot so that there are no exposed areas of skin.
- Dangerous driving is not allowed. If a driver is driving dangerously without considering the safety of others, he/she will be shown the red flag ONCE as a warning. After the Second red flag, he/ she will be disqualified and asked to exit the track, but may continue watching the race from the grandstand.
- Do not leave your personal belongings unattended. SIC would not be accountable for lost of items.
-Please ensure that you follow SICs Rules & Regulations. Any person displaying drunken, dangerous or unruly behavior will be asked to leave the Circuit premises and we will forfeit any money paid for their bookings.

VEHICLES
BODY
All entered vehicles must be in good condition and appearance.
Vehicles with excessive body damage, primered body panels, missing body panels etc., are not allowed.
WHEELS & TYRES
The general condition of the tyre and rim assembly must be good. There should be no cracks or other damage to the wheel. There should not be cords exposed, bubbles, or other visible damage on the tyre. All lug nuts must be present and tightly hold the tyre and rim assembly to the cars hub. No hubcaps or beauty rings are allowed.
STEERING AND SUSPENSION
The steering mechanism and the suspension of the car should be checked for its general condition. The front and rear wheel bearings should be tight and play-free. There should be very little or no play in the suspension of the car and in the steering mechanism.
ENGINE BAY
There should be no fluid leaks from the engine. Oil breathers or vents shall return the oil to the engine or shall terminate in a catch tank. All hoses carrying fluids should be in good condition with no cracks or other damage.
BRAKES
The brakes should be in good working condition and must be able to stop the vehicle in a reasonable distance in a safe and controlled manner. The pedal pressure should be adequate. The fluid level must be above the minimum limit as specified by the manufacturer. The brake lines must be in good condition.
SEATBELTS AND HARNESSES
The seatbelts should be in good condition. No damage may be present on the seatbelts and they must be the factory configuration. Any harness or any restraint system, other than factory stock MUST be minimum 4 POINT in all respects except for the expiration regulations. Harnesses that are expired for racing may be used providing that they are in at least very good condition.
BATTERY
The battery shall be securely fastened to the car. No Bungee cords or rubber cords may be used to function as the sole hold down mechanism. An electrically non-conductive material must cover the positive battery terminal. Any battery located inside the drivers compartment should be fully covered and firmly secured to the chassis (or tub) in a marine type battery case.
LOOSE OBJECTS
All loose objects in car and trunk should be removed. Floor mats, dash mats, spare tyre, jack, tools, etc. must be removed.
REARVIEW MIRRORS
The vehicle must have at least one rear view mirror affixed such as to provide the driver with good visibility to the rear
CAMERAS
Only motorsport related recording devices are allowed & must be securely mounted with a suction mount or roll bar mount.
LIGHTS
There should be at least two (2) working red brake lights visible from 300 feet to the rear
TOW EYES
It is STRONGLY recommended that all vehicles have at least two (2) easily accessible (and usable) tow eyes; one (1) in front and one (1) in back. They must not protrude dangerously from the car, and they must be accessible without manipulation of the bodywork and/or panels. They should be strong enough to support the weight of the car. If no tow eyes are available, the towing crew will hook onto other things that may cause damage to the drivers car. The towing crew will not be held liable for that damage. Again, tow eyes are STRONGLY recommended. The tow crew will attempt to avoid damaging the participants vehicle. However, should damage occur in the course of towing, or preparing to tow, Mazda Mega Gathering Track Day 2013 and/ or the tow crew will not be held responsible for any damages.
